PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood component collector capable of preventing mixing of unnecessary blood components (for example, blood corpuscle) in collecting a predetermined blood component. SOLUTION: This blood component collector 1 which mainly collects plasma as the predetermined blood component is provided with a collecting needle 29 collecting the blood from a donor (a blood donor); a centrifugal separator 20 centrifugally separating the collected blood into a plurality of blood components; a plasma collecting bag 25; a second line 22 having one end side connected to the plasma collecting bag 25 and the other end side connecting to an outlet 144 of the centrifugal separator 20; a fourth line 24 connected to a midway portion of the second line 22; and a storage bag 26 connected to the fourth line 24. Before the plasma in a blood storage space 146 of the centrifugal separator 20 is collected in the plasma collecting bag 25, a predetermined amount of plasma in the blood storage space 146 is transferred and stored in the storage bag 26 via the second line 22 and the fourth line 24.
