PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program reception apparatus that can start execution of a required program even when the program is only partially received.

SOLUTION: When one program is divided into a plurality of partial programs and transmitted, and when even only necessary partial programs are received, this program reception apparatus executes the partial programs (S310). When it is detected that the execution must be continued from the partial programs to another partial program, the other partial program is executed by determining whether the other partial program is already present or not (S305 and S306) and by receiving and extracting the other partial program when it is not present (S308).
