<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a mesoporous oxide having a uniform and excellent pore diameter, by which a homogeneous compound oxide layer is formed on an organic material template at a relatively low temperature for a short time. <P>SOLUTION: In the manufacture of the mesoporous material by forming the compound oxide layer comprising metal elements of ≥2 kinds selected from the group consisting of Si, Al, Ti, Zr, V, Mo, Cr, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Ag and Zn and containing at least Si, Al, Ti or Zr on the template organic material and after that, removing the template organic material, the formation of the compound oxide layer on the template organic material is carried out under the irradiation with ultraviolet ray. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
