PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silence detection device capable of monitoring program delivery and performing the stable program deliveries by enabling accurate information on silence state detection outputted as the result of repeating the changeover of programs and the stop and start of reading in the information on the silence detection every ON/OFF-time of an input fader. SOLUTION: When outputting the information on the silence detection, program changeover information outputted from an automatic program control device and input fader information are counted as a trigger for a prescribed time. Without performing the silence detection during counting, when a time for performing the silence detection has come, a counter starts performing the silence detection, and thereby not only conversion into an emergency program delivery system is performed but also the information on the detection on an operation table of the automatic program control device is displayed.
