PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse-width modulation circuit that makes no high-frequency component appear at both ends of a load when an audio signal is 0V in a pulse-width modulation circuit to which a power amplifying circuit having a plurality of bridge-connected switch elements is connected. SOLUTION: A 1st comparison circuit 13 compares the audio signal and a 1st saw-tooth wave having a specified period with each other and a 2nd comparison circuit 14 compares the audio signal and a 2nd saw-tooth wave which has the same period as the 1st saw-tooth wave and has a waveform generated by inverting the waveform of the 1st saw-tooth wave. Then outputs of the 1st comparison circuit 13 and 2nd comparison circuit 14 are supplied to the power amplifying circuit 15. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
