发明名称 RADIO WAVE ABSORBER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio wave absorber allowed to be manufactured at low cost as compared with a method using silicon carbide fibers and having a high radio wave absorbing characteristic in a 76 GHz band (frequency band of 75-77 GHz). SOLUTION: In the radio wave absorber constructed by laminating a radio wave absorbing layer on the surface of a metal body, the radio wave absorbing layer is formed of a radio wave absorbing material constituted of dispersing silicon carbide powder into matrix resin. The average grain size of the silicon carbide powder is 4-40μm, the content ratio of the silicon carbide powder in the radio wave absorbing material is 15-45 vol%, and the thickness of the radio wave absorbing layer is the one indicating a reflection attenuation quantity≥10dB in the 76 GHz band (frequency band of 75-77 GHz).
