LUBRICATING OIL, LUBRICATING GREASE AND TORQUE LIMITER USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating oil or lubricating grease which is fit to use for a torque limiter constituted of an inner wheel made of a metal and a coil spring, is capable of providing a good torque stability even in a high temperature/high humidity environment and has excellent resin deterioration prevention properties. SOLUTION: The lubricating oil or lubricating grease, which is to be used for the torque limiter having a mechanism for generating a torque by bondage force of a spring itself or a mechanism for generating a torque by pressing a frictional plate by a spring, contains a 0.01-5 pts.wt. sulfonate as a high humidity torque stabilizer to a 100 pts.wt. synthetic saturated hydrocarbon compound as its base oil and also contains at least one sort of phosphate of 1-8 wt.% selected from an aliphatic phosphate and phosphite.
