PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for an electric blind capable of saving energy at a low cost and having an excellent operability. SOLUTION: The controller for the electric blind has a control section controlling a driving section installed in a blind body, a transmission section transmitting a command signal, a reception section receiving the command signal from the transmission section and transmitting it to the control section and a power supply supplying at least the reception section with a power, and the driving section is driven and a shielding material is operated during a time when the reception section receives the command signal. Normally, the reception section receives the command signal from the transmission section intermittently while being capable of receiving the command signal continuously, not intermittently, for a fixed time after the reception of the command signal. Thus, power consumption is suppressed during a normal time while the command signal can be received without a time lag when the command signal is transmitted again immediately after the stoppage of the command signal and the driving section can respond quickly.
