PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pulse sterilizer, which smoothly transfers a card 1, which is made integrally of a light transmittable plastic to line up laterally a plurality of containers 2 filled with a content liquid, to an optical pulse exposure area without causing a jam during the transfer. SOLUTION: The optical pulse sterilizer includes a work transfer mechanism for transferring the card 1 to the optical pulse exposure area where irradiators 5R, 5L are arranged. The work transfer mechanism comprises a main belt 6, which bears and transfers the card 1, i.e., a work which keeps erected, and a pair of auxiliary belts 7R, 7L, which holds the upper edge 4 of the card 1 placed on the belt 6 on both left/right sides and travels at the same speed in the same direction as the main belt 6.
