READILY BONDABLE POLYESTER FILM FOR OPTICAL USE AND LAMINATED POLYESTER FILM FOR OPTICAL USE

A readily bondable polyester film for optical use which inhibits the iridescent coloration occurring in the light of a fluorescent lamp and is excellent in adhesion to hard coat layers and adhesion under high-temperature high-humidity conditions (moist-heat resistance). The readily bondable polyester film for optical use is characterized by comprising a biaxially stretched polyester film and, superposed on at least one side thereof, a coating layer obtained by applying a water-based coating fluid containing a resin composition which comprises as major components a water-compatible polyester resin (A) and at least one member (B) selected among a water-soluble titanium chelate compound, water-soluble titanium acylate compound, water-soluble zirconium chelate compound, and water-soluble zirconium acylate compound and in which the (A)/(B) proportion being from 10/90 to 95/5 (by mass), drying the coating, and then stretching it in at least one direction.
