The fuel activator for vehicles consists of two interfitting half shells (10) with flanges and tabs (13) on the longitudinal sides and which are fitted around a fuel pipe (20) and each contain a ceramic component (11). Positioning lugs are provided in the half-shells, and the ceramic components are fixed in the half-shells by adhesive. Each half-shell has a snap bolt on the tabs of the flanges for engaging in corresponding holes (14) in the tabs of the other half-shell and thereby allowing a tool-less assembly.
