The burner device (1) has a burner neck (4) with an inner (2) and an outer (3) pipe and which is detachably fitted in a housing (5) in the burner body (6). Means (7,8) in the form of a tongue in groove connection are provided for the torsionally fixed retention of both the inner pipe and the outer pipe with regard to the housing in the burner body. The components of the aforesaid connection are located one behind the other in the longitudinal direction of the burner body.
