PURPOSE: A plasma display panel device is provided to prevent the decrease of color temperature generated by a driving accumulation elapse time of the PDP. CONSTITUTION: According to the plasma display panel device, a measurement unit(302) measures discharge time of the plasma display panel device. A memory unit(301) stores data indicating the variation of color temperature corresponding to the discharge time of the plasma display panel device. A control unit(303) controls the number of display pulses. The control unit refers to the discharge time measured by the measurement unit, and controls the number of display pulses corresponding to at least one luminescent material, with a time gap determined by the data indicating the variation of color temperature stored in the memory unit.
