INK JET PRINTER AND METHOD FOR SLIDING PAPERS FOR CHANGING INCLINED ANGLE OF FRONT END RESISTANCE MEMBER

PURPOSE: An ink jet printer and a method for sliding papers are provided to change an inclined angle of a front end resistance member in order to stably feed papers having a large thickness and high strength. CONSTITUTION: An ink jet printer includes a pickup roller(120) for picking up papers from a cassette(110). A front end resistance member makes contact with front ends of papers in such a manner that an uppermost paper of the papers stacked on the cassette(110) is picked up from the cassette(110). A feed roller(140) feeds papers. An inclined angle of the front end resistance member with respect to front ends of the papers is changed by means of an angle changing unit. A switching gear is moved by a carriage to a first position driving the pickup roller(120) and a second position driving the angle changing unit.
