PRINTING DEVICE, PRINTING METHOD, PROGRAM FOR PRINTING, AND IMAGE PICKUP DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply print images picked up by an image pickup device.

SOLUTION: A printing device (printer 22) which can give and take information to and from the image pickup device (digital camera 90) is equipped with a characteristic information acquiring means (control circuit 40) for acquiring characteristic information which shows characteristics of the image pickup device, and a printing attribute setting means (control circuit 40) for setting printing attributes in accordance with the characteristic information acquired by the characteristic information acquiring means. Thus it becomes possible to simply print the images picked up by the image pickup device.
