<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferrite sintered compact having prescribed magnetic characteristics and a multilayer ferrite component obtained by using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The ferrite sintered compact is obtained, as a low temperature-firable magnetic material used as a substitute of a conventional Ni-Cu-Zn ferrite, by mixing powdery raw materials in a compositional ratio expressed by following general formula: Li<SB>0.5x</SB>Zn<SB>z</SB>Cu<SB>a</SB>Fe<SB>2+0.5x-y</SB>Mn<SB>y</SB>O<SB>5</SB>(wherein, 0.10<x<1.00 (10-100 mol%); 0.13<y<0.80 (5-25 mol%); 0<z<0.90 (0-90 mol%); 0.01<a<0.20 (1-20 mol%); and 0.5x + z + a = 1), and firing the resulting mixture at 700-900°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
