<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a burden of an examiner and a subject and facilitate the measurement of the state of an adjustment function of a subject's eye. <P>SOLUTION: This eye adjustment function measuring instrument is provided with a fixation target presenting means changeable a presenting position of a fixation target and a refraction detecting meas detecting a change in a refraction of the subject's eye, and finds the state of the adjustment function of the subject's eye based on a time course of the refraction in a stopped state of the fixation target. This instrument is characterized in having a simple measurement means positioning the fixation target in a position applying an adjustment burden to the subject' eye and measuring the state of the adjustment function of the subject's eye; and a determination means determining whether or not measuring the state of the adjustment function of the subject' eye in a state of increasing the presenting positions of the fixation targets based on the measurement result.
