<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller which can be used with an inexpensive and smaller power facility without delaying an operation time. <P>SOLUTION: In the motor controller which supplies a plurality of motors with power from the same power unit, it is determined whether the total of a motor output on each shaft to be started with the same timing exceeds a preset tolerable maximum output or not in the case necessity to start the a plurality of motors with the same timing arises so as to perform directed operation, and a motor with its operation completion time shorter than the operation completion time of the directed operation is selected from among the motors to be started with the same timing in the case it exceeds the set tolerable maximum output.
