LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY PANEL

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display panel whose space occupied by electrostatic protection devices (ESDs) is minimized.

SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display panel includes an active region where a plurality of gate lines and data lines are aligned in cross to each other in order to display image data applied to the data lines, a plurality of gate pads formed at an outside of the active region and connected to each of the gate lines, a plurality of data pads formed at an outside of the active region and connected to each of the data lines, and a pair of electrostatic discharge protecting thin film transistors formed at each gate pad and each data pad in order to carry out functions of inner and outer ESDs and to transfer static electricity generated from a corresponding pad to an adjacent pad.
