PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motorcycle tyre which can improve stability and cornering force upon exposure to braking force and acceleration force in cornering. SOLUTION: In this motorcycle radial tyre, a tyre tread region 1 is supported by a carcass including side walls 5, 6 extended between a tread edge part 3 and bead regions 7, 8 and is reinforced with a breaker assembly 4. The breaker assembly 4 comprises breaker plies 4a, 4b, and the internal cord makes an angle of 25°with the circumferential direction. A bandage ply 12 on the breaker ply 4b comprises strips 12a, 12b, 12c comprising nylon tyre reinforcing cords buried in rubber and the like. The strips have a width W of 15 mm and are spaced apart from each other by the space width G (15 mm). They are formed by winding one strip around the breaker ply 4b over the whole width of the tyre at a pitch of 30 mm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
