PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for a vehicle which enables a user to easily recognize that a displayed still picture is the one immediately after, or little while after having been photographed, when displaying pictures by frame feed. SOLUTION: The display device for a vehicle, which is provided with an in-vehicle camera 2 for photographing scenes around the vehicle and a display device 5 for displaying pictures photographed by the in-vehicle camera 2, is provided with a frame feed interval control part 4c and an image processing part 4a, and the control part 4c adjusts a frame feed time being an interval when displaying original pictures photographed by the in-vehicle camera 2 on a display device 5 as still pictures by frame feed, and the image processing part 4a inserts a picture resulting from processing an old picture when updating the old picture with a next new picture in display by frame feed and continuously changes the degree of processing in accordance with a passage of time.
