PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a static eliminator usingαrays in which recombination of atmospheric ions generated byαray irradiation is suppressed and efficient destaticizing can be performed. SOLUTION: This is a static eliminator usingαrays which has anαray shielding box (10) provided with an ion emitting aperture (10a), one or two or moreαray sources (1) housed in theαray shielding box, and a blower (20) which is arranged in theαray shielding box and has a blade (2) for agitating the atmosphere, and which emits atmospheric ions ionized and generated in theαray shielding box by the irradiation ofαrays emitted from each ofαray sources from the ion emitting aperture by the wind pressure of the blower and makes contact with a destaticizing object.
