PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic recording medium in which a floating magnetic field is suppressed and also tolerance to a disturbance magnetic field is improved. SOLUTION: In the magnetic recording medium, two layers of ferromagnetic films each of which consists of perpendicular magnetization are brought into exchange coupling with each other in an anti-ferromagnetic manner through a non-ferromagnetic spacer film.
