PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a documentation management system which can efficiently find an electronic document of a reference object from a lot of accumulated electronic documents, and can efficiently arrange the electronic document. SOLUTION: When a position on a coordinate plane to be decided from a coordinate value corresponding to two attributes selected for each of the electronic documents belonging to a display object electronic document which is a collection of certain given electronic documents, is contained in an area currently displayed on a screen, a coordinate plane display means 13 displays predetermined symbols on the area, and when the symbol is being displayed for the collection of given electronic documents, and if a user reselects the two attributes to be used as a coordinate axis of a virtual coordinate plane, the coordinate plane displayed is replaced according to the selection.
