PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve conventional problems that if update of firmware is performed one at a time for two or more network terminals, long time is needed by the time the firmware is unified, and if update of firmware is simultaneously performed to two or more network terminals, a load of the network increases. SOLUTION: When a network terminal 102-new having a firmware version newer than those of network terminals 102-1 to 102-3 is additionally connected to a network, the main device 101 notifies another network terminal 102-1 to which the firmware is to be notified, to the 102-new by query from the network terminal 102-new. The network terminal 102-new updates the firmware of the network terminal 102-1 which is a connection destination to the new version of firmware of its own.
