PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an easily manufacturable and low cost wear-resistant ring with a cooling cavity. SOLUTION: A thin-walled part 10a is formed in the outer peripheral side center area of a cylindrical body 10 formed of an austenitic stainless steel material, an annular guide member 11 is brought into contact with all the periphery of the thin-walled part 10a at its center position, and the cylindrical body 10 is pressurized from the inside to the outside through all the periphery of the cylindrical body 10 on its inner peripheral upper and lower sides. All the peripheral parts of the cylindrical body 10 on the upper and lower sides of the thin-walled part 10a are bent to the outside by pushing so that an annular cooling cavity 5 surrounded by the thin-walled part 10a can be formed on the inner peripheral side.
