PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an automatic lubricating device for a man conveyor preventing clogging of piping by heating lubricating oil with high viscosity by heat of a drive motor of the man conveyor before supply of the lubricating oil. SOLUTION: This automatic lubricating device for the man conveyor is equipped with the drive motor 6 driving the man conveyor, a lubricating oil tank 8 mounted to the drive motor 6 and storing the lubricating oil with high viscosity, oil feeding piping 9 connected to the lubricating oil tank 8 and heat-conductively mounted to the drive motor 6, an oil feeding pump 11 supplying the lubricating oil with high viscosity inside the lubricating oil tank 8 to a chain part via the oil feeding piping 9, and an oil feeding timer 12 controlling operation start and operation stop of the oil feeding pump 11. The oil feeding timer 12 starts supplying the lubricating oil by the oil feeding pump 11 when predetermined time has passed after start of the drive motor 6; and stops supplying the lubricating oil by the oil feeding pump 11 when scheduled time required for at least one cycle of a footstep chain has passed.
