PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical member capable of efficiently sterilizing water without forming an exclusive part for disposing a water purifier near a faucet of city water. SOLUTION: This water sterilization cylinder is provided with: an exterior cylinder which guides the passage of water; a micronet member disposed on a water conducting port side and/or a water supply port side in the exterior cylinder; and a spiral blade which is disposed on the inner part of the exterior cylinder and is formed by being twisted transversely relatively to the longitudinal direction of a pipe. At least either of the micronet member, the spiral blade and the inner wall of the exterior cylinder is formed of silver or a composite body of silver and ceramic, and water is sterilized by causing the water to swirl.
