PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article display method which enables a display space to be expanded/reduced depending on the scale of a shop and the kinds of articles developed in series, and which enables its display form to constantly give an excellent impression with a sense of uniformity, and an article display implement for use in the article display method. SOLUTION: Article display stands 1-3 comprise a display surface 30 which is provided with an engaging part for displaying and holding the article by proper arrangement, and right and left side surfaces which are each suspended from both right and left ends of the display surface 30, respectively. In the display stands 1-3, the almost whole surface ranging from a front edge of the display surface 30 to a back edge thereof is formed as an acclivitous plane which is inclined at a fixed angleθof inclination, except for the engaging part. The display stands 1-3 of a plurality of types are prepared by at least one for each of the types in such a manner as to be set identical to one another in the shapes of the right and left side surfaces and the angle of the inclination of the display surface 30, and different from one another in the article to be displayed and arrangement thereof. The display stands 1-3 are horizontally arranged while leaving no spaces among them, so as to form the wholly continuous inclined display surface 30, and so as to bring about the proper article display form depending on the number and types of the arranged display stands 1-3.
