PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine capable of regulating the voltage between terminals depending on the relative angle of a plurality of stators by varying the relative angle during rotation depending on the rotational speed. SOLUTION: In the rotary electric machine, the stator is divided into a plurality of sections in the axial direction facing the rotor and arranged to move in the circumferential direction. The plurality of stator sections are provided, respectively, with a coil and the maximum terminal voltage of the rotary electric machine can be regulated by varying the relative angle of the stator divided into a plurality of sections in the axial direction depending on the rotational speed thereby generating a voltage corresponding to the relative angle.
