<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire personal authentication information for authenticating an individual user himself (or herself) intending to use a check and to effectively output the personal authentication information in order to prevent the illegal use of the check. <P>SOLUTION: A check processor includes a check scanner 140 for reading out a part of a check C or the whole image, a photo-ID scanner 110 for reading out an image of an identification card 71 for authenticating an individual user intending to use the check, a controller 160 for generating identification card image data obtained by converting the identification card as image data, a synthetic file generation means 170 for synthesizing the image data read out by the check scanner and the identification card image data and generating a synthetic file, a synthetic file storage means 180 for storing the synthetic file, and a display means 33 for displaying the synthetic file. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
