WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, WIRELESS TERMINAL, AND WIRELESS BASE STATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication system wherein each wireless terminal keeps high information distribution service quality while reducing the capacity of a memory mounted in each wireless terminal.

SOLUTION: A simple wireless terminal 2 is provided with: a parameter storage means 24 for storing control parameters denoting the performance of the simple wireless terminal with respect to the reception of picture data; and a parameter transmission means 21 for transmitting the control parameters. A wireless base station 1 is provided with: a parameter reception means 11 for receiving the control parameters; a data storage means 15 for storing the picture data; change means (12, 17) for changing a transmission rate of the picture data on the basis of the control parameters when the base station transmits the picture data to the simple wireless terminal; and a data transmission means 11 for transmitting the picture data at the transmission rate.
