<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure capable of manufacturing at low cost and also capable of correctly measuring the load on the ball bearing. <P>SOLUTION: The retainers 21a and 21b for retaining the double row balls 8a, and 8b are attached with encoders 26a, 26b, and the revolution speed detection sensors 24a, and 24b are oppositely facing to the encoders 26a, and 26b. The revolution speeds of balls 8a, 8b are freely detected. Based on the revolution speeds of the balls 8a, and 8b of both the rows, the load is calculated.
