摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a generating system highly efficient by suppressing deterioration of generating efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system is provided with a solid oxide fuel cell stack 3 which performs power generation by reacting electrochemically hydrogen in a reformed gas 9 from a reformer 2 with oxygen in the air 36 for power generation, a CO shift converter 20 which converts into carbon dioxide and hydrogen by reacting carbon monoxide in the fuel electrode exhaust gas 17 of the solid oxide fuel cell stack 3 with water vapor, a selective oxidizer 21 for CO which converts into carbon dioxide by reacting carbon monoxide in the exhaust gas 28 of the CO shift converter 20 with oxygen, a solid oxide fuel cell stack 23 which performs power generation by reacting electrochemically hydrogen in the exhaust gas 29 of the CO selection oxidizer 21 with oxygen, and a burner 7 which combusts the hydrogen and fuel in the fuel electrode exhaust gas 27 of the solid oxide fuel cell stack 3 with oxygen.
