<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric ceramic composition showing small deterioration in Q value when its dielectric ceramic layer and inner conductor layer are simultaneously fired and excellent in microwave characteristics, and ceramic electronic components using the composition. <P>SOLUTION: This dielectric ceramic composition contains as a subcomponent, 0.05-2 wt.% glass composition containing at least SiO<SB>2</SB>, Li<SB>2</SB>O and MO (wherein M is at least one of Ca, Sr, and Ba) to the main component which is in a specific square region with A, B, C and D as its apexes in a three-component composition diagram representing xBiO<SB>3/2</SB>/yCaO/zNbO<SB>5/2</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
