RECORDING MEDIUM, REPRODUCING APPARATUS, AND SERVER APPARATUS

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server apparatus connected to a network for providing various data to a reproducing apparatus in a way that the reproducing apparatus can browse and acquire the various data without the need for using a particular means so as to reduce the cost of the reproducing apparatus and the communication cost and to provide meticulous services by recording information for connection to the network to the recording medium.

SOLUTION: A form of data which a reproducing apparatus can reproduce by using a reproduction function provided to the reproducing apparatus is adopted for a form of data stored in the server apparatus and the reproducing apparatus reproduces received data by a method similar to a method used when the reproducing apparatus reproduces data of the recording medium. Further, the reproducing apparatus records display data used to connect the recording medium to the network in a form similar to the data form, displays the display data before connection to the network and is connected with the server apparatus as required.
