<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tailgate device capable of securing head clearance of the upper side of the passenger's head part, improving the space efficiency in the vicinity of the tailgate opening, and suppressing the sliding resistance in the initial area of the opening operation of the tailgate. <P>SOLUTION: One end side of a rod 52 is connected to a direct driven type rack 44, one end side of a bent arm 54 is connected to the other end side of the rod 52, and the other end side of the bent arm 54 is connected to a tailgate 15 with a connecting shaft 55. The rod 52 is provided with a slider 60 and a guide 62 which guides the movement of the slider 60 with a more moderate moving trajectory than the moving trajectory of the connecting shaft 55 in the initial area of the opening operation of the tailgate 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
