<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake device of a hoisting machine for an elevator capable of exhibiting large braking force even when a structure is simplified and the brake device is miniaturized. <P>SOLUTION: The brake device of the hoisting machine for the elevator for controlling rotation of a drive sheave around which a main rope is wound is equipped with a braking surface provided on an inner peripheral surface of a brake drum interlockingly moving with the drive sheave and having a same rotating shaft with the drive sheave, and a plurality of brake linings provided on an inner side of the brake drum and pressing with respect to a braking surface along the radial direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
