<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To destroy data of a RAM within a device appropriately even when a case body of the device is intentionally destroyed by the third party. <P>SOLUTION: The control device has a terminal having the RAM 4 in which storage data are backed up by a power source of a battery 25, a door 2 provided on a case body of the terminal, and a mechanical switch SW linking to opening/closing of the door. The device comprises an optical sensor SR which is provided inside the case body, inputs an optical signal from outside the case body, and outputs it as an electric signal in the case that the opening of the door is detected and the data of the RAM are made inaccessible; a clock generation part 21 for outputting a clock when an output of either a mechanical switch or the optical sensor is detected; a counter 22 for counting the clock; and a transistor 27 for short-circuiting among the battery backup power source terminals of the RAM on the basis of the count output of the counter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
