<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve effective resource management and resource feed control in such a unit as an entire distribution system, an entire building where the distribution system is installed, or an organization using the distribution system. <P>SOLUTION: A network system includes a management server 10 and a group of devices to be managed, with the management server connected via a network to the group of devices to be managed. Each of the devices to be managed which constitute the group sends operation information showing its own operating condition to the management server 10 at a predetermined timing. Based on the operating information obtained from the devices to be managed, the management server 10 supervises the amount of resource consumption in a predetermined unit (e.g., an individual user or an organization to which users belong) set with respect to the group of devices to be managed or the users of the devices, and dynamically controls the operating conditions of the individual devices to be managed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
