PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moire reduction device and program that can reliably reduce moire irrespective of the period of repeated patterns such as patterns and halftone dots. SOLUTION: The moire reduction device comprises image capturing means for capturing an image to be processed comprising a plurality of pixel data 20, and moving means for moving the positions of the plurality of pixel data 20 in the image randomly in pixel data units in areas about the respective pixel data.
