PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet illuminance measuring article which can measure an ultraviolet illuminance easily, and increase a user's consciousness concerning ultraviolet rays by causing the exposed parts such as the face, hands, etc. of a personified article to discolor, causing the user to easily associate those parts with the exposed parts such as the face, hands, etc. of the user's own, and moreover making the article attachable to the outside of a portable article such as a bag or the like which is irradiated with the ultraviolet rays directly. SOLUTION: This method is characterized by providing the personified article, and an ultraviolet sensing agent which is applied to the exposed human skin of the article, and gradually discolors from a light color to a dark color according to the amount of irradiation of the ultraviolet rays.
