PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus capable of selectively outputting only transmission result information related to desired transmission by a simple operation. SOLUTION: The communication apparatus 1 has a transmitting/receiving section 2 for carrying out transmission to a destination by facsimile communication or Internet communication via a communication channel 17 and sets in advance conditions as to whether or not the transmission result information denoting the transmission result of transmission information transmitted from the transmitting/receiving section 2 is stored or outputted before the transmission of a prescribed transmission information. When an entry means 20 enters the storage of the transmission result information, a main body control section 11 allows a memory 7 to store the transmission result information by taking precedence over a preset condition. Further, when the entry means 20 enters the output of the transmission result information, the main body control section 11 allows a print section 6 to output the transmission result information by taking precedence over the preset condition.
