PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint in which a bolt 22 is smoothly tightened. SOLUTION: In the pipe joint 31, the bolt 22 is screwed to a nut member 19A, and the bolt 22 is rotated. When an outer end part of a head 23 of the bolt 22 touches a second expansion piece 16, the nut member 19A is moved along a recessed arc-shaped surface 33 of a first expansion piece 13A, and the entire surface of the head 23 of the bolt 22 facing the second expansion piece 16 (except a part facing a through hole 17) is abutted on the second expansion piece 16. As a result, no bending force to push the head 23 against a pipe 2 side (inwardly) with a part fitted to the nut member 19A as a fulcrum is applied to a threaded portion 24 of the bolt 22, and the bolt 22 can be tightened smoothly.
