PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the attachment of a pinion gear to a differential case consisting of one piece, to reduce the diameter of the differential case, faciliate oil discharging from an engagement of each gear, and to improve the lubricity and cooling performance of a cone clutch. SOLUTION: The differential device is provided with the differential case 3 and a bevel gear differential mechanism 5. Gears 31, 33 of side gears 27, 29 are exposed to the periphery side.
