PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake air flow control device with an intake air flow control valve arranged in each intake air passage communicated with a cylinder of an internal combustion engine, securing good startability, whether the fuel supplied to each cylinder is heavy or light. SOLUTION: At starting the engine, when the fuel supplied to the cylinder is heavy, the intake air flow control valve is located at a first closure position to throttle an intake air passage (Step 104). At starting the engine, when the fuel supplied to the cylinder is light, the intake air flow control valve is located at a second closure position to throttle the intake air passage (Step 105).
