The binding has a base plate (1), a heel loop (6), and a front foot loop (11), extending across the boot from one side to the other side of the plate. The front foot loop extends across the toe cap (12) of the boot (13), to the end of the toe bones (14) only, and is curved to follow the curvature of the top cap. This permits entry into/exit from the binding without manual handling of the front foot loop. This loop is length-adjustable and also longitudinally adjustable on the on the base plate.
