<p>A sheet for a carrier tape which has at least one layer comprising (I) a block copolymer comprising a vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon and a conjugated diene, (II) a vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon polymer being not modified with a rubber and (III) a vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon polymer being modified with a rubber, wherein the block copolymer (I) contains a vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon block exhibiting a peak molecular weight within the range of 30,000 to 80,000, the vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon block exhibits a molecular weight distribution curve having a half width in the range of 1.3 to 2.8, and wherein the sheet for a carrier tape contains a vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon in an amount of 75 to 95 wt % and a vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon polymer component in an amount of 65 to 85 wt %. The above sheet for a carrier tape is transparent, and is excellent in the balance of physical properties such as rigidity, impact resistance and thermal shrinkage, and thus can be suitably used for a carrier tape for use in mounting electronic parts such as IC and LSI on an electronic device.</p> |
