An applicator device capable of housing an insertable element and an inserti on member having an insertion end and a gripper end. The applicator includes a plunger that has a diameter, an insertion end and a gripper end. The inserti on end of the plunger consists of a locking mechanism having a diameter greater than the diameter of the plunger. The locking mechanism also includes a plurality of slits.
