<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar cell of high photoelectric conversion efficiency at low cost without deteriorating a back passivation effect and a back electric field effect in a process of forming a backside structure when the solar cell is manufactured using a sheet-like silicon substrate whose either surface is at least rugged and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The solar cell is equipped with a sheet-like silicon substrate 2 whose either surface is at least rugged, a passivation film 6 is formed on the rugged surface of the silicon substrate 2, an opening 7 is provided only to the projections 6b and 6c of the passivation film 6 formed on the rugged surface of the silicon substrate 2, and a back electrode 10 is formed on the opening 7 and the passivation film 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
